Brennan Leigh and Noel Mckay return to the Churchyard with the whole band!
The High Plains Jamboree will be preforming at the Churchyard April 15, 2016. Doors open at 7:30PM. Pre sale tickets are $12 plus tax through our website. Tickets at the door are $15. Kids under 12 years old get in free. Light refreshments will be available for purchase. No outside food or drinks. There are benches and picnic tables, but feel free to bring your own lawn chairs and sit under the trees!
High Plains Jamboree isn’t just a Terry Allen song, it’s a way of life.
The band is making their own jukebox memories, playing decades old favorites (theirs, not necessarily everyone else’s) and songs they wrote (together and all by their lonesome). With roots in northern bluegrass and southern troubadour country, Brennen Leigh, Beth Chrisman and Noel McKay each come to this new string band with a distinct flavor to their writing and singing. Simon Flory anchors the band on bass and is more country than all the 100 people who move to Austin every day combined.
